MISSION UPDATES: MAY – AUGUST 2010

To all people, individuals, churches and mission groups who continuously give, pray & support this mission work and ministries. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. WE LOVE YOU AND WE ALWAYS PRAY FOR YOU. My wife and I thank you for your generous support of prayer, encouragement and financial provisions.

Below are updates and prayer requests on what is happening on the mission field of Badjao.

I. CHURCH/EVANGELISM/ MISSION

Praise the Lord for the successful Badjao-Cebu mission last April 2010. There were 52 Badjaos who accepted the Lord Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They are requesting for follow up and discipleship.

The Badjao-Cebu Mission is a great victory for our Lord Jesus Christ.

We are praying for a new batch of Badjao church planters to send to another Badjao community in Balayan, Batangas which compose of 30 families by 2010.

Church Planting training is currently on going with leadership training included in the course.

"Youth with a Mission" (YWAM) has been sending trainee missionaries from South Africa, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Korea, Ireland and the Philippines to the Born Again Badjao church on a regular basis as part of its mission exposure program.

We will continue to evangelize, disciple, teach and train Badjao workers and others to pursue the vision of the church to raise, send, plant churches across different cultures in the Philippines and other countries.  The Lord has been guiding, teaching and providing us all the needs of this vision.

We are praying for God’s divine guidance to organize a care program foundation for pastors & missionaries care program.

We are preparing and selecting workers for the Badjao - General Santos mission evangelism and also been praying for financial provisions for this year 2010.

Pastor Albert and Sis. Ellen will be leaving to a trip to General Santos. Arriving there to prepare for a mission trip to Badjaos located in GenSan and consult with local pastors and workers before entering the community of the local Badjaos. They will proceed next to Kiamba, Sarangani province to conduct training seminars and conventions among the native Tiboli workers in order to enhance and sharpen their ministry leadership and administration skills.

II. PRAYER REQUESTS

Pls. Pray for our Badjao-Gensan preparation and consultation; and for Bartolome Wao who has a calling from the Lord to begin this mission.

Pls. Pray that God will send more supporters who are more generous and who love missions, who will support and pray for the expanding needs of BABC mission work.

Pls. Pray for Pastor Albert and Sis. Ellen as they travel and conduct mission trainings, discipleship programs, seminars and conventions among tribal churches, pastors and new believers in Sarangani Province.

Please pray for BABC Missionary-Church Planting Training Centre for its curriculum, church building, preparation of land and its facilities. Please help us pray that God would provide the needed amount worth Php250,000.

Please pray for Badjao discipleship and prayer meetings in Badjao-Maisan. It is handled by Badjao couple workers and are conducted every Thursday and Friday afternoon.

Please pray for our much needed mission service vehicle.

Please pray the physical health and protection of Ptr.  Albert and Sis. Ellen.
