MISSION UPDATES: OCTOBER – DECEMBER 2009
To all people, individuals, churches and mission groups who continuously give, pray & support this mission work and ministries. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. WE LOVE YOU AND WE ALWAYS PRAY FOR YOU. My wife and I thank you for your generous support of prayer, encouragement and financial provisions.
Below are updates and prayer requests on what is happening on the mission field of Badjao.
I. CHURCH/EVANGELISM/ MISSION
 Church Planting in Sitio Maisan, Barangay Malitam is on going. Discipleship Class and Cell group for 3 families is on going regularly.
Discipleship class for women is also on going and handled by Badjao mother workers.
Bible studies and visitations is done by a group of Badjao youth workers among the youth new converts.
The church planting is composed of 3 teams: The fathers team, the mothers team and the youth team. They're going every Sunday afternoon, Monday, Thursday and Saturday afternoon. Evangelism strategies are "One on One" witnessing; personal testimony; prayer healing; Jesus Film in Badjao language; group prayer meetings and Chronological Bible Story telling.

PRAISE THE LORD! There are 27 fathers, 28 mothers, 43 young people decided to received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and the team are regularly following up the new converts. Some of them are now attending the church worship services in Libjo.
Among the 27 fathers only 21 remain in cell group; among the 28 mothers 15 remain in the discipleship class.
PRAISE GOD! All members of the church planting team, school teacher, assistants are all our trained Badjao workers supervised by Sis. Tess S. de Vera, one of our missionaries.
2 water baptisms were conducted last December 20 and 27, 2009.

 We are praying for a new batch of Badjao church planters to be sent to another Badjao community in Balayan, Batangas which compose of 30 families by February 2010. Church Planting training is on going with Leadership training is included in the course.
24 Badjao men, women, youth and 13 children have decided and considering in prayer to be full time God’s servant. Seven [ 7 ]children who are elementary pupils are already assisting the workers in the Basic Literacy Program among the 100 Badjao children in Sitio Maisan every Saturday afternoon.

A Missionary Training Center will soon begin by May 2010 with four months course. This training center is open to outsiders who are willing to become a cross cultural missionary. Our visions, plans and and missions is to raise, train and send cross cultural missionaries and church planters in every unreached Badjao communities and other unreached peoples group in the Philippines and other countries beginning the year 2010.
The Born Again Badjao Church has now 12 outreach churches in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato in the T’boli tribes. T’boli native workers are the one doing the ministries themselves already.

 Pastor Albert T. Santiago took charge of teaching T’boli workers of doctrinal and theological training that started last June 2009 and October-November 2009.
We are praying to God for the provision of Php 1.2 million to purchase a 600 square meter of land with one storey h ouse in General Santos City, South Cotabato in Mindanao to be a mission base to cover the mission work of the Born Again Badjao Church in Mindanao tribal communities.
The mission base in Mindanao will be under the supervision of Pastor Albert Santiago, and assisted by some heads of tribal pastors as our partners.
Local mission prayer meetings every Thursday, and international mission prayer meetings every Friday is held in the church.

II. PRAYER REQUESTS

Pray for more Christian partners through their financial giving and prayers for the expanding missions to reach out the unreached Badjaos and other tribal communities.
Pray for the 24 Badjao men, women, youth and 13 children who decided for a full time God’s servant.
Pray for the Badjao worker's stamina, good health and financial provisions in their mission exposures in T’boli tribes in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato by April 2010.
Pray for our Missionary Training Center which will begin by May 2010.
Pray for our vision, plan and mission to send cross culture missionaries and church planters in every Badjao unreached communities in the Philippines and other nations.
Pray for our on going Badjao discipleship class and cell groups in Sitio Maisan, Bgy. Malitam- Batangas City.
Pray for the purchase of 600 sq.meter lot with bungalow type house worth Php 1.2 million in Gensan City, South Cotabato to serve as mission base for Mindanao.

Pray for the church planting teams in Sitio Maisan for stamina, good health, sincere spirituality in seeking and obeying God above all else, freedom from sin; growth in the fruit of Holy Spirit; Bible knowledge; Faithfulness in obligations towards God and others; Humility as servant; and perseverance, joy, peace and patience in the face of difficulties; emotional stability; flexibility in quickly adapting to new culture; and ability to handle stress; and lastly good family relationship.
Pray for Php 14,850 monthly instalment payment for 25 years our newly acquired land here in Libjo, Batangas City that will serve for church, school, missionary training center and housing for the Badjao mission and community.
Mission service vehicle: a Isuzu 4 x 4 wheel drive.
Prayer for our 12 T’boli tribal outreach churches, 1 in Malolos City and a Sangil church in Kiamba, Sarangani province.
For the 21 Badjao fathers, 15 mothers, youth and the 100 Badjao children and the 3 Badjao families in our new outreach in Sitio Maisan. Malitam, Batangas City that they may continue to seek and follow the Lord Jesus Christ faithfully and obediently and the Word of God that shared to them by the workers works powerfully in their lives.
