Our Beliefs

1. Holy Scriptures

We believe in the Holy Scriptures both the Old and New Testament are verbally inspired by God, and is the revelation to men; are infallible and authoritative rule of faith and conduct. ( I Thess. 2:13; 2 Tim.3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21; Ps. 19:7; Jn. 17:17, Jas. 1:22-25)

2. The Triune God

We believe in one triune God. Eternally co-existing in three persons- the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, co-eternal in nature, co-equal in power and authority; having the same attributes and perfections. ( 1 Jn 5:7; Matt.5:16, 6:6-8; 28:29; 2 Cor 13:14; Luke 3:22; Jn 14:16, 17,26)

3. God the Son

We believe in the eternal Son of God who became a man without ceasing to be God; having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, Mary, in order that He, the Lord Jesus Christ might reveal the Father and redeem sinful men. ( Matt.1:20-23; Heb.1:2, 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22; Jn 17:5;Phil 2:5-11)

We believed that He accomplished our redemption through his death on the cross, being a representative, vicarious, substitution sacrifice and that our justification is made sure by His literal physical resurrection from the dead. ( 1 Cor.15:4)

We believed that He ascended in the heavens and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of being an intercessor, representative and advocate. ( Eph.1:20,21; Heb.7:24,25)

We believe in the literal, physical ang personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ in order to establish a Messianic Kingdom here on earth and before that to come for His Bride the Church, and the dead in Christ shall resurrect and those that are still alive be translated to the glorified state. (1 Thess. 4:16-17)

4. Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Godhead though Omnipresent in eternity, took up His abode in the world in a special sense in the day of Pentecost which according to the divine promise, dwells in every believer and by His baptism which occur at conversion converts all believers in the Body of Christ and as He the indwelling One is the source of all power and acceptable worship and services. (Acts 2:1-4,8; 2:43)

We believe in the necessity to be empowered by the Holy Spirit ( also called the Baptism of the Holy Spirit) for service with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. This second work of the Holy Spirit is distinct from the indwelling during the time of generation although both may occur at the same time.(Acts 2:4)

We believe in the necessity for the continual infilling of the Holy Spirit, the further work of the Holy Spirit for a continual victorious living and for a fresh charge of power needed for the diverse challenges in our daily walk to perfect conformity with the Lord Jesus. ( Jn.14:26; 16:13; Rom.8:26;Eph.5:18b)

5. Man

We believe that man was created good and upright and is created in the image and likeness of the Lord. (Gen.1:26-27) However by hid voluntary transgression ( Gen.3:6), fell and thereby incurred not only physical death (Rom.5:12), but also spiritual death (Rom.5:18-19), which is separation from God.

6. Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace plus nothing, minus nothing (Eph.2:8-9), and the condition to salvation is repentance and faith. (Titus 2:11; Jn.1:9)

We believe that it is absolutely essential for a man to be born again (Jn.3:3), regenerated by the Holy Spirit, in which he is no longer conformed to the world system but is redirected to the things of the Spirit. (Rom.12:1-2; Titus 3:5)

7. Church

We believe that the Church, the spouse Bride of Christ is a spiritual organism made up of born-again individuals, and not a specific organization. (2 Cor.11:2)

We also believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has left two ordinances to be observed by the Church in commemoration of His Person and work. The first one is baptism through immersion in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The second one is the Lord’s Supper (Matt. 28:19; Mk.16:16; Acts 10:47-48; 1 Cor.11:23-25 )

We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the Church for the edification of the saints and for the glory of the Lord. (1 Cor. 14:4).

8. Resurrection

We believe in the eternal conscious blessedness of the saints and the eternal conscious punishment of the lost. (1 Jn.5:10-13)
